WOYWW This one is for you Julia!!!!

Ok! Ok!

I know it is not yet Wednesday but as i have meetings most of the day tomorrow and i have to start at 8am this might be my only catch up!

Well no crafting to post as it has been a mega busy weekend.

It all started with a friends of mine and Laura's over at Airing cupboard crafts. The couple we are talking about are both serving in the Army and were given the chance to have a home makeover for a TV show (to be shown in Sept) called Homes for Heroes.

The attraction for me and Laura was the host!!! Only a TY PENNINGTON!!!! from Extreme home make over the American TV show, shown on the Home channel. I'm sure some of you are aware of the programme?

So with this as an attraction we both duly offered our services to help out :)

We did have a fab time and did get to meet Ty which was great and yes he does look the same (a little older) sorry Ty! He was however the perfect gentleman and made time to talk to the two girls making the brews, washing up and cleaning up behind the crew.

He said he had been told we had a list of our top 10 men (put up to this by the friend having the makeover of course) and proceeded to ask us both where in our top 10 he came! (cheeky)

I think we both managed to make his ego hit the floor however when we put him in his rightful place and told him he would have trouble making our top 100 let alone 10, and Laura made him drag his ego around by telling him she would rather have the cockney geezer from the programme, as quoted by Laura "you know the British one with the bald head". At this point the lovely Julia rang to talk clocks with me and when i told her i could not talk as we were mid way through a conversation with Ty Pennington i thought she would wet here self with the noise which was coming from the other end of the phone!!!!

We did however lap up our time and have a giggle with Ty and it obviously had a lasting impression as when i saw him again on Sunday he said "oh!! there you are the one who has a top 100 I'm not in!!!

So as you can see no crafting done just B list Celeb chasing!!!

So now I have taken up enough of your time I hope you have all had a great crafting week and I Promise to pull my finger out and do some crafting for next week, and for all of you in the Wiltshire area he is around for a few days yet so keep your eyes peeled you never know who you might bump into!!

Good afternoon all! Has taken me some time to get here today due to the dreaded WORK.

Well it has been a busy week for me with crafting and I have certainly got my mojo back! This is one of the LO's i did at Ludgershall Crop on Saturday this was just what i needed to get me back on track so thank you to the lovely Julia! My daughter was so keen on me scrapping her on the Trampoline. I took this from a UKS Cybercrop class that I did not have time to do last week!
This is another crop LO and another UKS Cybercrop class I cannot remember the class names as my memory is rubbish! I was reluctant to have a go at these as they are not really my style but hey ho!! Now they are done I love them.

I had a whole day to myself yesterday and with no house work left to do and only me and the dogs at home what was a girl to do but craft. so I spent the day planning and starting my woyww Anniversary challenge and have really enjoyed doing this! It is not yet finished but nearly, of course I cannot show you it yet but I will give you a sneeky peek at some of the papers in have used. These are so girly I love them!!!! Very Pink and very me. (I'm sure you have spotted the Pink theme going on, no guessing my fav colour!)

So that is what is on my work desk this week. I am off to get myself a coffee now and then to spend a quite hour browsing your work desks!! Happy crafting Wednesday :)

well here we are again!!! Wednesday seems to come around so quick!! It has been a busy week with the children returning to school and me to work. I did however find my mojo this week with the help of the cybercrop over on UKS, after it had disappeared over the easter holidays!!! I know all that time off and no insperation to do anything!

I would like to have tried more of the cybercrop classes but the weather was just to good to be in and children had outgrown clothes and shoes so a shopping trip was called for!

This is my work desk this week, not alot on it had a little tidy up after the weekends cybercrop ponderings and am now thinking about Ludgershall crop on Saturday and what to do while i am there!

This is the LO is did for my little Grape, i have now gotten totally used to driving her and love the fact i can fit her into any tiny space when parking!





This LO was a UKS cybercrop challenge for coventry street (a LO about a friend) This is me and Laura from Airing cupboard crafts taken on a night out over xmas. One of my fav picutres and a fab reminder of a good night out and a best friend who i can rely on whenever for whatever! Thanks Laura x


And this LO was a UKS cybercrop class (angel at Islington) I really enjoyed this class and lear'nt some new skills.


So as you can see my Mojo is well and truly back and now i cannot wait for the next cybercrop and promise to try and do more next time. I thought about crafting today on my day off but I think now my children have gone back to school it's time i had a spring clean! So that's my job for the day! Off to do school run now and will check in when everything has been springed and is looking lovely for some hopping to see what you have all been doing today

This is my new but old car which I have to have now we need 2 cars for hubby to drive to work as well! I am in love with it and have decided to call it The Purple Grape!

I have been off work for nearly 2 weeks now and i thought this would be ultimate scrap time!!! However my children and the housework have had other ideas. Managed to do 5 ATC's for the UKS challenge and I did manage to do this one LO



Today though I have managed to ship hubby and eldest off to a football game for the day and youngest has gone to Nanny's for 2 nights!! Leaving me and middle angel child in the house. So today i am going to have a go at a LO of the grape. I have lovely purple papers embellishments and letters.



So hopefully now I might get some peaceful time to complete a LO and the Mini book I have also had on the go for the last 2 weeks.

Inspiration!!

Well It's Saturday and it has been a busy week here! Not a busy Crafting week! I seem to have lost my mojo a little towards the end of the week and have spent more time watching Grey's Anatomy than doing anything alse.

I am still unsure whether to join in with the ATC and Inchies swap for the cybercrop on UKS as i still don't really know what these are with being new to crafting?? Laura over at Airing cupboard crafts is going to give me a sneaky peak at some of hers later so I get the Idea!

I bought this Mug today in the Range! Nipped in to just have a little look and came out with a few little bits. I thought this might give me some inspiration and ?? Well I might eat it at some point when i become desperate for food but too lazy to walk upstairs from the craft room to the Kitchen!

OK not the best picture ever!! But i have no natural light in my craft room. I have had a pretty productive week and completed 3 layouts and also made these cute little gift bags. It has been a week of lots of craft deliveries for me!!!! Very exciting.

I am slightly fed up as I was off to Ally Pally this weekend but due to my bank card being cloned last Thursday and now having to wait for new cards etc I won't make it :(

So for all of you planning a trip enjoy, spend lots and have fun!!!

This is lovely present my friend from airing cupboard crafts bought over to me 2 days ago to cheer me up?? why I don't know not been that grumpy!!! Well did not think i was????But must have seemed it!!! However I was very grateful and they will look fab in my office at work! Thank you Laura



This is the state of my craft room this week!!! Have masses of paper to sort and need to get a grip! Have had a lovely delivery of Amercian Crafts papers and I love them! Just not yet figured out what im going to do with them. I seem to have a mental problem with buying papers at the moment and cannot stop myself!




This was me messing about this morning and having a go at a flower embelishment tutorial i saw on line!!! ok don't laugh i did say i was new to the crafting thing! however I do think it resembles a flower a little and my next attempt will be better (promise). I will keep trying before they are good enough for a LO.



Finally this the result of the Toilet Roll books i made this last week to give to my daughters teachers with a small egg to say thank you! I embelished the inside and put small pics and poems in them. The staff at school were very pleased with them and took time to come and thank me personally for a gift which was unique and personal!! So I m very pleased with my self. Now as today is payday and we are on 2 weeks school holidays it is time i made my way to the craft shop and spent some money to keep me busy!!! So happy crafting see you all next week
